As the saying goes "All good things must come to an end." The Coaches Aid Forum recently changed from a free format to a paid format. There were probably numerous reasons that went into this decision, but ultimately it left many of the users without a way to easily communicate with the peers and friends that had been developed through the forum.

Above 500 has stepped in to fill that void. The brand new A5 Oklahoma Sports Forum's overall goal is to promote intelligent interactions concerning sports related to the state of Oklahoma. In order to properly fulfill this goal, there are many aspects of this forum that set it apart from other forums. Below are a few of those aspects.

No Avatars, Signatures, or Images: Your initial reaction to this aspect of the forum may be negative. Above 500 has concluded that in order to completely fulfill its goal, avatars, signatures, and images do not encourage intelligent interactions. If anything, they distract from the current conversation taking place. Once you have used the forum for a little bit, I am sure that you will agree (if you don't, you can always find another forum).

Affiliation Boxes: In order to provide users with a way to display their team affiliation, A5 Oklahoma Sports Forums has implemented Affiliation Boxes. This allows a user to pick the colors and some short text to declare their affiliation with their favorite teams or schools.

Zero-Tolerance Moderation: In order to make everyone's use of the forum enjoyable, inappropriate behavior of any kind is not tolerated at the A5 Oklahoma Sports Forum. Users who engage in such activity will find their posts deleted.

We plan to become the number one sports forum for the state of Oklahoma. We hope that you will take part in this community as it continues to grow.
